The practical implication: Math and analytical reasoning are common to all three, English comprehension matters everywhere, and only NUST NET leans hard into memorized Physics/Chemistry formulas. If you're short on time, prioritize Math and English first — they carry weight in every test you sit.
A Shared 10-Week Prep Plan
- Weeks 1-3: Math foundations. Rebuild algebra, trigonometry, coordinate geometry, and basic calculus from your FSc/A-Level notes. Do timed chapter-wise quizzes rather than passive reading.
- Weeks 4-5: English and verbal reasoning. Practice reading comprehension passages under time pressure, sentence correction, and vocabulary in context. LUMS in particular rewards strong written expression, so also draft and revise a personal essay during this window.

- For LUMS, confirm current admission requirements directly on lums.edu.pk, since the SAT/LCAT policy and essay prompts can change between admission cycles.
- For FAST, verify the current test format for your target campus on nu.edu.pk, as NAT vs FAST's own test can vary by year.
- Bring your original CNIC/B-Form and admit card — test centers routinely turn away students missing either document.
- Sleep is not optional the night before. A tired brain loses more marks on speed-based sections than an extra hour of last-minute revision ever gains.
A student who scores consistently across three mock tests under real time pressure is better prepared than one who has "read everything once" but never tested their speed.
Choosing Where to Focus Your Limited Time
If you can only sit one or two tests due to overlapping dates or budget, pick based on your actual program goal rather than test familiarity.
